Installation

Setting up VoiceWeaver is straightforward. Follow these steps to prepare your local transcription environment.

Setup Steps

  1. Install: Drag the VoiceWeaver.app into your "Applications" folder.
  2. Permissions: When recording for the first time, allow microphone access when prompted by the system.
  3. Model Loading:
    • The app includes base transcription models.
    • For advanced AI features, ensure local LLM model folders (e.g., Qwen2.5) are placed in the designated directory.
    • Check the "Model Ready" indicator in the status bar to confirm successful loading.

System Requirements

  • macOS: macOS 13.0 or later recommended.
  • Hardware: Optimized for Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) for the best performance.
